This months featured project is brought to you by J&E Masonry. They are one of the top commercial masonry companies in the state of Texas. Founded in 1995, they were built on the principles of team work, work ethic, and fairness. Their attention to detail really shows on the new Westlake Fire Station featured here. English Cobble is the main stone used for the building, giving it that old world feel. The use of English Cobble in thin veneer was utilized above the roof lines to reduce weight, but was so skillfully done, you’d never know where the full thickness stops and the thin veneer begins. The custom cut Oklahoma headers are an eye catching feature that help defines the look. Visitors to the fire station are welcomed by the beautifully crafted Milsap Ledgestone feature wall at the entry. The combination of materials used and skilled craftsmanship made this an easy choice for Project of the Month. For more info on J&E Masonry, visit them at http://je-co.com/ .
